The exciting new tours are perfectly designed for small groups to enjoy more in-depth experiences throughout the region
From an exclusive tour of Italy’s Amalfi Coast, to a private limoncello tasting in Malta, Celebrity Cruises’ new Celebrity Discovery Collection opens up the world for intimate groups of curious travelers through carefully curated shore excursions. The first tours in the growing collection will be offered in the stunning vistas of the Western Mediterranean, with more tours being added globally throughout 2018.
Building on the brand’s award-winning modern luxury shore excursion portfolio, the Celebrity Discovery Collection was designed with both the seasoned wanderer and new-to-cruise in mind. The tours range from eclectic, off-the-beaten-path adventures for the naturally curious explorer, to tours that take travelers to the must-see locales of every port. While every tour is unique, each was expertly crafted for those seeking immersive experiences in a small group setting. With a maximum of 24 guests in each tour, guests will get more time at each location, individual interaction with their guide, and a more up close and personal travel experience.
The Celebrity Discovery Collection was designed with all travelers in mind – from the modern explorer to the newly immersed – there is a tour for everyone. Among the many new tours, guests can book a French Day Experience in Nice and St. Paul de Vence, where they can venture into the 17th century underground vault and storied wine shop in Old Nice before journeying to Michelin-starred restaurant La Colle-sur-Loup for lunch, and ending in the enchanting St. Paul de Vence; foodies can embark on an exclusive Italian Pasta Experience, where they’ll arrive at the famed Martelli pasta factory by carriage for a tour of the facilities, followed by an entertaining pasta-making demonstration at Torre a Cenaia in Tuscany; those musically inclined guests will be transported back in time with a live concert of medieval music at Barcelona’s Secret Basilica – Concert at the Bell Tower; or experience Valldemossa and Exclusive Lunch in Deia, where guests explore the quaint countryside before enjoying a private piano concert and visiting the La Cartuja ancient monastery.
